VYRO Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how VYRO processes personal information when riders, drivers and authorised staff use the VYRO service.
Information VYRO may process
Depending on how you use VYRO, information may include account and contact details, rider or driver profile information, trip and booking details, pickup and destination information, location data used for trip operations, ratings and support records, payment-related references and transaction status, and device or technical information needed to operate and secure the service.
How information is used
VYRO may use information to create and manage accounts, provide ride-booking and driver-dispatch services, calculate and display fares, provide live trip progress, process and reconcile payments and driver payouts, provide receipts and support, prevent misuse, maintain service security, comply with legal obligations and improve service reliability.
Location data
Location information is used to support pickup selection, nearby-driver matching, navigation and active-trip progress. Driver location may be processed while a driver is online or completing a trip where required for these features. VYRO should request only the location permissions needed for the feature being used.
Payments and service providers
VYRO uses specialist service providers to operate parts of the service. These may include payment processing, cloud database and authentication, mapping and routing, and hosting services. Payment card details may be handled directly by the payment processor rather than stored by VYRO. Each provider may process information under its own terms and privacy practices.
Sharing
Information may be shared where necessary to provide a trip, for example between a matched rider and driver, with service providers supporting VYRO, where required by law, or where necessary to protect users, the service or the public. VYRO does not state that personal information is sold to advertisers.
Retention and security
VYRO aims to keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for service, safety, financial, legal and dispute-resolution purposes. VYRO uses access controls and other technical and organisational safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law and your location, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of personal information. Some records may need to be retained where required for legal, financial, safety or fraud-prevention reasons.
Children
VYRO is not intended for children to create independent rider or driver accounts where this is not permitted by applicable law or service rules.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as VYRO features, service providers or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top of this page will be revised when material changes are made.
Contact and support
For account-specific privacy or support requests, use the support options provided within the VYRO service. A dedicated public support contact may also be added before wider public launch.
